Echo Base Jumping
So I finally got out with Neil Amonson again to shoot some base jumping photos. With all the rainy weather we’ve had in Utah recently, it’s definitely been tough. This time we headed up to Echo Canyon along I-80. Echo has 300-400 foot cliffs lining the north side of the highway and towering above a set of rail road tracks. A lot of potential for some neat photos. I definitely look forward to shooting here again. There’s a great resevoir 5 minutes from the jumping area for these hot summer days.
Great! I particularly like the last photo with the train and river inclusion.
Man, I didn’t think I was susceptible, but that last photo gives me vertigo. Nice work!
I’m probably getting a little too comfortable at the edge of the cliff… The train was a great bonus. Next time I want to shoot from the ground and have him fly over the train…
That is crazy Nate, the overview of the train is nuts, you sure do live on the edge !! 🙂
