Back Country B&W

Now that I’m a participating member of the digital age (digital camera, photoshop, a blog, etc), I figure that I should take advantage of that with image that don’t work out as I’d hoped.  This weekend was a perfect example.  The snow conditions were extremely variable, which made it difficult for my athletes to ride or ski where I would hope they’d go.  This image didn’t work out as I’d hoped.  He was supposed to be carving a turn the other way, and I think I really should have shot it landscape (it was originally portrait).  But, with some cropping, a B&W conversion, and a neat little border, I think it turned out well.
