This Weekend in the Backcountry
This weekend was beautiful, especially on Saturday. Unfortunately, the snow pack was damaged and variable due to higher winds and warm temperatures. We went out in the early morning up Little Cottonwood Canyon, and was greeted with an icy skin track as well as a crusty top surface. We did manage to find some soft snow, but unfortunately not as much as I’d like. Here are a few shots of our group.
Man I would love to be able to hike and photograph in snow like that 🙂
You just need to move to Utah! Indiana isn’t so bad. You’ve got beautiful fall images with flowing waterfalls.
