Hidden Falls

Although I was not inspired to get out and take photos, I decided to try to find a few last fall images in Big Cottonwood Canyon.  Unfortunately I was a bit to late.  Most of the leaves had fallen, and the brown pre-snow ground was exposed for all to enjoy.  In order to salvage the evening, I stopped by Hidden Falls on my way out of Big Cottonwood Canyon with very little expectations.  One thing I had not accounted for was doing a B&W conversion on the images of Hidden Falls.  The falls themselves are very impressive, but the colors and surrounding don’t really pop out or scream to be photographed.  But by changing it to B&W, I think it becomes a very enjoyable image.

The b&w really makes for a great shot here. I love your climbing photos as well.

  6. Great b&w image. I really like the smoothness of the water and the clean crisp feel of the image. A great conversion, well worth the time you spent on it!
