Winter Blues

We really need snow in Utah. Jeff Campbell and Suzanne Graham were supposed to ski the Ivory Flakes off Cardiac Ridge. It was a bluebird morning, but the winds hammered the small amount of fresh snow into a miserable crust. Ericka Prechtel and I ended up checking out a new area for us near the Spruces in Big Cottonwood Canyon. As we looked north across the canyon, it was mostly bare. I didn’t even want to take a picture!
